A five-bedroom contemporary villa built around a 15-metre pool, with floor-to-ceiling glazing and a double-height living room.
The brief
The owners wanted a home that felt open and bright but private — somewhere to entertain family and friends around the pool, on a compact Lekki plot.
The challenge
The plot’s tight dimensions and high water table made the pool and deep foundations difficult. Large glass walls also had to cope with strong afternoon sun.
Our solution
We used a piled raft foundation, designed deep roof overhangs that shade the glazing, and built the pool as part of the main structure so the home and garden read as one space.
