The brief
A young family wanted a calm, private home that stayed cool without relying entirely on air-conditioning.
The challenge
Abuja’s hot afternoons and the client’s wish for large openings pulled in opposite directions, and the schedule was tight — nine months from groundbreaking to handover.
Our solution
A central courtyard with timber screens creates shade and cross-ventilation, while a prefabricated roof structure kept the programme on track.
